Arenberg Science Park

Arenberg Science Park

The Arenberg Research-Park is a science park founded by the KU Leuven and located nearby the Arenberg campus of the university in Heverlee (Belgium).

The science park provides a bio-incubator for spin-offs of the university and space for companies active in research and development. It is a highly controversial development because it not only destroyed 13 hectares of Egenhoven Forest but was constructed with government grants and competes with buildings of private entrepreneurs and business parks in the Leuven region.
